The final panel of today’s SMBC webcomic. The ‘gibberish’ writing in the lower lefthand corner used to fill in the newspaper bears a striking resemblance to Sir John Dee’s secondary Enochian alphabet, and in fact spells out “We are the overlords of the final year” with only one character being reversed and one superfluous dot on the letter “Kelgur”.  Amazing reference if the writer intended it.  Sure sign of the apocalypse if he didn’t.
